John Key was ‘dissapointed’ that Auckland’s mayors couldn’t agree on one of the proposed developments. I feel that Auckland’s mayors are in a much better position to decide what Auckland needs rather than John Key. For once, it is nice to see that local council is trying to save money by not agreeing to something they don’t think is right. And Mr Key is dissapointed in them? I hate to think what kind of influence central government will have over the new Super City Council and Mayor.

NZ Herald reports: “Mr Garrett yesterday suggested parents with a history of child abuse should be given a $5000 incentive to be sterilised”

Reading that was like a breath of fresh air. As per one of my previous posts, it amazes me that its legal for parents with known abuse/drug/murder convictions should be allowed to raise children. Its idiotic.

Criminals are breeding criminals. This needs to stop.

To make matters worse, Maori TV will be the main channel, broadcasting all of the free-to-air games, I can see already all the pro Maori bullshit they will be promoting in the ads. Why can we never seem to get things right here?

I know I’ll be watching SKY.

Mr Key’s hope is that Maori TV lead the bid and have exclusive rights and then will dish out some games to the other channels. Maori Party members want this to showcase the Maori languagaue, well thats just great, all the tourists coming to NZ for the cup will love to watch the games on TV with Maori commentary. Maori TV is a racist channel and should not be the leading channel for the World Cup games.

And why TV3 is involved I have no idea, they are a private company, but now joining up with TVNZ and Maori TV for the rights. It is possible the the IRB will reject the bid as they may decide a three-way bid dilutes the coverage too much. They would also prefer the individual channels to bid against themselves for exclusive rights.

Again Mr Key is bowing down to the Mori’s, a minority group that seem to have more influence than anyone else. The National-Maori Party coalition was a very bad move on Key’s part, although it may secure a second term in Govt as all the Maori’s will vote for him, it has ment the pro Maori bullshit we tried to vote out by getting rid of Labour is here now and more prominent than ever.

Prime Minister John Key will today announce measures to combat the abuse of methamphetamine, ranging from limiting the availability of precursor ingredients through to providing more Government funding for the treatment of addicts.”

This will not solve the problem. It will only make effective cold and flu tablets even harder for us to buy. Pseudoephedrine is the only thing to get you through a day at work when you are feeling full of a cold. And now Mr Key wants to limit the sales even further, why not eforce the current laws we have  properly?

The whole country, Police and Government included, have gone soft, so we sit back and create new laws to try and combat one of the biggest problems facing New Zealand today. What the Police should be doing, is getting out there and making their presence felt. Come down hard on P cooks and lock them up for a very long time. Not a slap on the wrists and few months supervision or community service. Criminals need to be afraid of the Police and the justice system, currently they are not. You only have to look at the weak and soft sentences that are handed out weekly.

You cant really blame them, they get paid alot to be on the unemplyment benefit, and then they can commit crime and either not get caught, or have some soft PC punishment imposed.

Wanganui should be left spelt as Wanganui. Its as simple as that. Mayor Michael Laws held a referendum on the H and 77% of Wanganui residents wanted the name left how it was. How it has always been. When European settlers arrived in NZ the Maori’s had no written language, so they did their best to write down the Maori place names as they were said. Hence why Wanganui is spelt Wanganui. Because local Maori said Wan rather than Whan.

Who the hell are the Geographic Board? Well, they are the same group of people that want to have Maori names for the North and South Islands and want New Zealand to be called Aotearoa. I am fairly patriotic towards New Zealand but I will catch the first plane to Australia if New Zealand was renamed Aotearoa.

Why do we have to Maori-fy everything? It baffles me that we are so anti anything early European, I would love to see how this country would be today if it was still all Maori. I doubt we’d even have the wheel.

European history is just as much a part of our Country’s culture as Maori. The H in Wanganui isnt really a big deal, and wont change much, as people will continue to spell it Wanganui and say it the same. But it is the principal behind it that is frustrating. This pro-Maori bullshit in New Zealand needs to stop.

Maori’s keep saying they want to move foward as one with all other races, that will never happen if they keep asking and receiveing this preferential treatment.

I am disappointed that I even voted for National. They have become an almost mirror image of Labour and seem to be heading further left by the day. I know who I’ll be voting for next time.
