Licensing Parents

Why do we allow convicted criminals to come out of jail and have children? Its seems idiotic, that someone who raped, murdered, robbed or assaulted one of us, goes away for some stupidly short length of time, and then once out can raise a child or in most cases, a few hundred. A child born into a family with one or more criminal parent/s is far more dangerous than driving a car or owning a gun and we have to have a license to do those. Why don’t we have to prove we are capable of raising a child successfully before giving birth? The test or license could be based on a few factors: income, living conditions, parents (and extended family if they live in the same house) background and criminal records, and lastly their genuine reasons for wanting a child. I have personally met people who only want another kid so that they can receive more money in benefits. This sort of thinking should be illegal. Raising children for those sorts of reasons breed criminals. The parents don’t care about the child, all they are after is more money, or are too lazy to invest in contraception, and when realize they are pregnant don’t have an abortion as its frowned upon by their respective cultures. Unlicensed parents caught with children would face extreme consequences, life in jail or death. It may seem like its going to far, but we have a huge problem in this country, and it needs to be sorted from where the problem begins, and that’s at birth.

Earth Hour

I apologize for the lack of content lately. I couldnt help but comment on Earth Hour coming up this Saturday. The Earth Hour campaign and WWF are encouraging people to turn off all their lights and appliances for one hour on Saturday 28th of March all over the world. Last year 50 million idiots turned their lights off across the world in a ‘worldwide vote’ to stop Global Warming. It amazes me that 50 million people can belive in something so ludacris. Lately I have been wondering what has happened to people’s common sense and this reflects that. The left wing greenies have absolutley no proof that Global Warming is occurring and that human emmisions are having a negative effect on the world. In the past 23 years there has been no considerable increase in the worlds temperature, and some scientists beleive that a small amount of global warming is actually good, more cold inhabitable places could become liveable.

There is another other problem with Earth Hour that these communists can’t seem to get their heads around. The strain it will put on each cities power grid will be huge. When all these lights turn off and on again at the same time it will cause havoc for the all eletrical equipment and may cuase large power cuts.

I struggle to understand where people’s common sense has gone. When you look at the facts there is no proof to prove Global Warming and also no proof of positive effects that Earth Hour will have, other than making people ‘think’ they are doing their bit for the myth of Global Warming.

I will be making an effort to turn on as many lights as possible, as a ‘vote’ for common sense.

The Recession

Wow, this came out of no where. People are loosing their jobs, businesses are going under, exchange rates are dropping and we are all being told to tighten our belts. That is the complete oppisite of what we should be doing. The only way we are going to get through this is if we all spend. I know it sounds scary, and we are being told to save because our jobs may be a bit shakey but that is only going to make things worse. We cant rely on the Government to bail us all out, we all need to do our own bit and stimulate the economy. There are fantastic deals going on all over the place and its the perfect time to start spending, house prices are rock bottom and interest rates are too.

I agree that some people may need to save IF their jobs are actually on the line, but the majority of us are still doing okay and should try and keep up the lifestyle we used to have. If we all start spending more it will have a roll on effect and we will get out this much faster and keep more people employed. The media are definatly to blame for some of this, every day on the news and in the papers we are having this ‘recession’ talk jammed down our throats and general doom and gloom. That is having a negative effect on all of us, even making some marriages split, encouraging more crime and other things we don’t want. Get out there and spend!

New Fine for Criminals

A new fine is being proposed for criminals, when someone commits a crime they must pay a $50 fine that goes towards a fund for victims. Great idea. Except it wont work. These people already commiting crimes andready have unpaid fines that they pay off weekly, this $50 will just be put onto their tab. What I dont understand is why we let these people do what they want when the have huge fines outstanding. When you buy something on hire purchase or you take a loan out and you dont pay it back, debt collectors come around to your home and take your personal items to compensate for the money owed. Why can’t our justice system do this? After listening to Danny on newstalkzb today I completley agree that fines should be paid while the offender is still in court and they cannot leave untill they have paid or sorted some sort of loan has been organized to cover the fine. Our justice system isnt a bank, they shouldnt offer payment terms, you either pay up or get locked up. Simple as that.

The man that killed the tagger, innocent or guilty?

Neither really, he did kill Pihema Clifford Cameron. But was it justified?

Think about it this way, every morning you wake up in your Manurewa home to find tagging on your garage door. Each weekend you spend at least a day cleaning it off, then that night the same thing happens again. Except one night, your still up, you hear these lowlifes shaking their cans and spraying the garage door, the same door youve spent the last 5 hours cleaning. You would be filled with rage, you run and get a knife, just in case things turn nasty, you run outside to show these punks your serious, but are they scared? No. They dont run, they taunt you, they enjoy the thrill and excitement. One confronts you, all of a sudden that knife you brought out comes in handy and you do something you will regret for as long as you live.

Yes he killed him, but the way he acted was partly these kids fault, they forced him to boiling point. And it ended in a way no one would have wanted.

He’s not innocent, he ended someone’s life, but hes not guitly of murder either. Self defence gone to far? Maybe. Guilty of assualt only? Maybe. It will be interesting to see the outcome.

When will Kiwi’s learn to drive?

I know I touched on passing lanes earlier, but there really are some idiots on our roads. I never seem to be able to understand why some people cant drive at the speed limit, its not set very high, even your Toyota Echo should be able to reach 100kph on open roads.

Why is it that some morons decide they would like to pull out in front of me on suburban streets and travel at 30-40kph when there is a giant gap behind me? And then when you politely flash your lights and beep your horn to let them know that someone, who wishes to travel at the speed limit and is wanting to get somewhere on time, is behind them, they get angry with you. These types should not be allowed on the road. Just before the Christmas Holiday period I read that NZ Police were going to focus on slow drivers this Holiday because they cause other drivers to become frustrated and do silly things. Finally we may be getting somewhere, congrats NZPD.

Another strange habbit of these moronic drivers is, when travelling on open roads, they slow down to about 10kph less than reccomended corner speed but then accelerate to top speed on the straight pieces of road meaning that us normal drivers cant overtake, then the next corner they slow down far too much again. I dont care wether your 95 years old or you get sick when traveling at the speed limit round corners, if you cant drive to the road rules, get off the road. Simple really.

This next problem with NZ drivers almost needs its own post, but ill try to keep it short.

Q. WHY DO MOTORWAYS COME TO A HAULT DURING RUSH HOUR?

A. Because most people cant drive, and have no idea how to drive sensibly. If your getting off at the next exit, dont move all the way to the far right lane then back again to the left and cause hold ups, just stay left. Always do the speed limit. Dont brake unnecessarily. And this may be difficult for some of you but try to think of others, we dont want to be sitting bumper to bumper in traffic for hours.

The Maori Problem

Okay, maybe it was a tad unfair trading blankets and muskets for land, but they were happy with it at the time. Because of these deals that were made, we now have to take care of our Maori population. This I can understand to a certain point, but 209 years later and we still give them preferential treatment. That doesnt seem right. Currently they have special entrance into schools and universities, special welfare schemes, their own tv channel and political party, what next? How many more years does this need to go on for, to “help them get back on their feet” after something that happened 200 years ago?

After all this help they (as a whole) commit more crime than the rest of us. 1 in every 570 New Zealand’ers is in jail, 1 in every 180 Maori’s are in jail, and we still continue to help them, when is it time to say sorry about what happened a few hundered years ago but your on your own now?

It has almost got to the point where it is racist towards European New Zealand’ers, imagine the outroar from the Maori community if we started White TV or the White Party where only European’s could participate. It would be shut down and deemed racist immediatly.

There is a slither of hope that things may change now that we have a National led government, but still unlikely considering they teamed up with the political party that causes part of this problem.

Passing Lanes

When will New Zealand drivers learn to use these correctly? When you pull out into that passing lane you use it, you dont sit there at the same speed you were already doing, you accelerate, pass the slow car then move left again as soon as possible. Theres arent some extra lane that you can drive in just for fun, they are there for a reason, and that reason is so that decent drivers that know how to travel at the speed limit can overtake useless drivers that feel the need to travel at 20kph less than the speed limit regardless of the conditions. And when the useless driver travelling at 75kph on an open road is overtaken by someone who knows how to drive they stare as though we’ve done something worng. Strange world we live in.
